Building Technical Competence in Agriculture
Programme 1: Plant Production
- Level: NQF Level 2 (Accredited)
- Focus Area: Comprehensive training in high-value crop cultivation, seedling planting, open-field farming, and greenhouse management.
- Target Reach: 80+ Specialized Beneficiaries per cohort.
Through this hands-on programme, our beneficiaries develop the practical skills and technical competence needed to manage commercially viable open fields and greenhouses. By focusing on high-demand, high-value crop production, we prepare young farmers to independently cultivate quality produce and successfully enter mainstream agricultural markets.
Programme 2: Poultry Production
- Level: NQF Level 1 (Accredited)
- Focus Area: Essential poultry farming skills, livestock health, biosecurity measures, and egg/meat production management.
- Target Reach: 50+ Specialized Beneficiaries per cohort.
Our poultry initiative is designed to create immediate pathways to financial independence for vulnerable youth and community members. By mastering both technical livestock management and commercial market standards, graduates from these 50-beneficiary cohorts are empowered to break the cycle of poverty.
