At Rebafenyi Development Centre, we believe that empowering our youth goes far beyond traditional training—it’s about building independent, resilient, and thriving agri-entrepreneurs.

We are incredibly proud to share that we have officially expanded our agricultural skills development programmes across three major corridors: the City of Tshwane, Sedibeng Region, and West Rand! 🌍✨

Through our targeted Special Projects, we are actively training, developing, and capacitating 130 specialized beneficiaries across two high-impact, accredited pathways:

🌿 Plant Production (NQF Level 2) | 80 Beneficiaries Equipping emerging farmers with comprehensive skills in high-value crop cultivation, seedling management, open-field farming, and greenhouse operations.

🐓 Poultry Production (NQF Level 1) | 50 Beneficiaries Building practical capacity in livestock health, biosecurity protocols, and commercial egg and meat production management.

By combining technical agriculture with essential value-added skills—including plumbing, irrigation infrastructure, and Financial Literacy masterclasses in partnership with Old Mutual—we are transforming vulnerable youth, grant recipients, and community members into confident cooperative business owners. 💼🤝

Together with the Department of Social Development, we aren’t just planting seeds; we are growing sustainable livelihoods and creating active economic participants in the mainstream agricultural sector. 📈💚
